We need to determine which formatting works best within the entire wiki. Here I have set up two, each having their pros and cons. The first section is set up using sections and sub sections. This enables the creation of the table of contents and allows quick access to sections or terms. The second is simply a list layout including a term and a definition within a section.
I hope this will become clear as the pages progress. Different formatting may be appropriate for different pages.
The definitions presently reflect American etymology. With so many users outside the U.S. it is important to include definitions or discussions that appropriately reflect the memberships family structures and terminology. We also need to include the definitions that are appropriate to what is known, in the U.S., as same-sex-marriage. This union is observedl in several countries. I believe this changes the definition of spouse.
