Revision as of 10:34, 28 October 2008

Inspired by the famous people thread in the forum, add your link to a profile page of celebrities here by country of origin.

Please follow this template (loosely) for each entry:

  1. Name (in bold and with link to Geni profile)
  2. Category
  3. Also know as
  4. year of birth and death
  5. title
  6. short description
  7. link to wikipedia

Adding a category will make it easier to re-organise should the list become too long. To qualify as a celebrity in this list, the Geni profile should be publicly viewable ("about" and timeline) and there should be an article in wikipedia.

Categories:

  • Art's & Entertainment - Musicians, composers, dancers, writers, painters, sculptors (please add)
  • Politics - Presidents, freedom fighters, dictators (please add)
  • Academia - Philosophers, scientists, (please add)
  • Athlete - Baseball players, soccer players, golfers, runners, swimmers. Any sports celebrity.
  • Royal & Military - Emperors, Dictators, Kings, Queens, prince(sses), Lords, Ladys, Earls, Dukes, Generals,

(We should keep the categories to a minimum, I'll say max 10 to avoid making it too cumbersome)
