The listed features are accumulated from the forum where they have been acknowledged by a member of the Geni Team (date stamp). All qualified roadmap listings should therefore have at least one date stamped reference to a forum thread. Link posted here should preferably include the post number (click the '#' on the bottom of the Geni team members forum post before copying the url). Ideally there would be only one thread in the forum requesting a feature.

Once a Roadmap listing has been implemented, it will be moved to the Release Notes

It is our hope that Geni staff will assist maintaining and ensuring each feature request is correctly listed in any of the following phases

1. Under development - For features currently being worked on by development staff and to be released in near future (<3 months)
2. Planned features - For features accepted and waiting to be allocated to development staff.
3. Features being investigated - Features currently being researched/reviewed by the Geni Team
4. New feature requests - Requests/suggestions that have not yet received any 'positive' response from a Geni Team Member, but yet has been responded to

Tree Merging

Tree Merging is currently available.

Tree splitting [1] will enable existing trees to split.

Localization

Development is in progress by users on the wiki. The Geni Team has not reported any official yet. Geni Forum raises the question almost every day. [12]
